· There is no dedicated parking for Park Jazz Live venues. Please use public transportation or a nearby paid parking facility.
· Please refrain from bringing food or drinks into venues that include restaurants or bars.
· Seating is limited. Entry may not be possible for some venues when they reach capacity.

1Odori Park, 2-chome

The largest and main outdoor stage. Expect performances by large ensembles, past Park Jazz Live contest winners, skilled bands, and kids’ groups. Food trucks, beer, and official Sapporo City Jazz goods will also be available for sale. Grab something and make the most of the live shows!

2Sapporo Community Plaza, 3F Creative Studio

On the third floor of the Sapporo Community Plaza (home to hitaru, a cultural arts theater), enjoy dynamic performances primarily by big bands.

3Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walkway (Chi-Ka-Ho), Kita 3-jo Intersection Plaza [West]

Chi-Ka-Ho is a 520-meter underground space connecting Sapporo Station and Odori Station on the Namboku line, offering a variety of attractions and events. The Kita 3-jo Intersection Plaza is a familiar venue from Sound Square events.

At this venue during Park Jazz Live, solo musicians and unique bands playing acoustic and world music will take the stage. The venue is also collaborating with students from Hokkaido University of Education (Iwamizawa Campus), aiming to create an inclusive space for all.

4Moyuk Sapporo

In front of the first-floor entrance of Moyuk Sapporo, a new landmark that opened two years ago and lights the way to the city’s future, hear the people of Sapporo perform and resonate their music through this open-air space. Be sure to enjoy the festivities alongside your shopping.

5STV Hall

A hall usually used for TV and radio recordings is set to transform into a Park Jazz Live stage. Colorful stage lighting adds to the excitement. Expect fusion music and performances from medium-sized bands.

6New Otani Inn Sapporo, B1 Bar Oak Room

A hidden bar tucked away in the hotel. Relax with a drink and enjoy mellow jazz around the striking piano counter.

7Former Takeshiro Nagayama Residence

This registered tangible cultural property of Hokkaido is a charming blend of Japanese and Western architecture.

The adjoining café Nagayama Rest serves nostalgic Western-style meals and seasonal parfaits.

This is the only venue you can enjoy live music while sitting on tatami. Take your time and enjoy mainly acoustic performances.

8Hokkaido Jingu Tongu Shrine

Known affectionately as “Tongu-san” by locals, Hokkaido Jingu Tongu Shrine will host performances next to the main hall in the Kagura hall, featuring accoustic performances, standard jazz, pop, rock, and more.

Make sure to visit the local market hosted by the shrine. Enjoy both the music and the lively atmosphere.

9Hoheikan, 2F Grand Hall

Hoheikan is the only hotel ever built by the Meiji government. It opened in 1881 during Emperor Meiji’s visit to Sapporo and Hokkaido. Constructed using traditional Japanese techniques, it is a representative example of early Meiji-era Western-style wooden architecture and is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property. Originally built near Odori Park 1-chome, it was relocated to its current location in Nakajima Park in 1958. Long beloved as a wedding venue, it reopened in June 2016 as a cultural exchange facility following restoration work.

For Park Jazz Live, enjoy a relaxing evening of jazz in the second-floor hall with a grand piano.

10JAMUSICA


JAMUSICA, a live dining venue where hot players from within and outside Hokkaido perform daily, joins as a Park Jazz Live venue! Just a 1-minute walk from the Nishi 28-chome Subway Station. First-time jazz bar visitors are more than welcome to stop by!

11Daruma Hall

A collaboration with Hiragishi Jazz, held monthly at Hiragishi Daruma Hall!

This unique venue, originally a local taxi garage from 60 years ago, has been remodeled into a venue with old-school charm and modern flair. Enjoy the performances with drinks and delicious food.
